Republicans Make Osky Campaign Stop

The parade of Republican candidates was greeted by a partisan gathering at Smokey Row in Oskaloosa Wednesday. With six days to go until the mid-term election, Gov. Kim Reynolds and Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg and their “Keep Iowa Moving” caravan including Iowa Senators Charles Grassley and Joni Ernst, Iowa Representative candidate Dr. Chris Peters, state auditor Mary Mosiman, treasurer candidate Jeremy Davis each spoke to the gathering. Iowa House 79 candidate Dustin Hite and District 80 candidates for state representative also spoke.

Reynolds, the first woman to serve as the top governing official in Iowa and the 43rd person to hold the state’s highest office brought her bubbly personality to the Smokey Row stage and thanked those gathered for their support.

“It’s an amazing honor to serve as the 43rd governor of this great state,” said Reynolds. “Iowa is a state that is getting things done and it is the Republican team that is doing it. This team is really working hard.”
