North Mahaska Boys Roll to Win

What a difference one night makes. Monday night the North Mahaska baseball team could not throw a strike and had trouble getting a timely hit. Tuesday night they could not kiss pounding out 13 hits in a7-1 win over Moulton- Udell.

“It was a different type of team we played tonight,” said NM coach Kevin Kelderman. “We got the hits tonight. Our defense has been playing pretty well and our pitchers were throwing strikes.”

Ty Kelderman took to the mound for North Mahaska working five innings to earn the win. He allowed just one hit and struck out four with two walks. Eighth grader Sam Terpstra finished up striking out four and walking one.
