This past week was a good week to golf for the North Mahaska teams as they prepare for the busiest week of the season this week.

The teams played at Lynnville-Sully against the Hawks and Montezuma on Monday, then hosted Iowa Valley and Keota on Tuesday. It was windy both days, but didn’t hamper the Warhawks.

At Sully, the girls continued improving their game winning the triangular with 214. Montezuma was second with a 238 and L-S shot a 248.

The quartet of sophomores continued their course play improvement. The victory was the first of the season for the Warhawks. Kassidi Steel brought home medalist honors with her 49, while Macy Moore was next with a 52. Paige Layman carded a 53 and Karlee Chandler had a 60.
