NM girls stay the course

BELLE PLAINE – North Mahaska’s quest for a South Iowa Cedar League title continued Tuesday with a 60-20 victory at Belle Plaine. The team posted its eighth consecutive win after losing their first two games of the season.

North Mahaska’s defense limited the Plainsmen to single-digit scoring in three quarters and shut them out in the third. The defense was credited with 15 steals. The Warhawks dominated the boards outrebounding Belle Plaine, 36-22.
