NM Girls Pick Up Four Wins at Sigourney

North Mahaska’s girls found tough competition at the Sigourney co-ed meet Thursday, but picked up four event victories including two by Cheyenne Shaw.

The Warhawks placed fourth in the meet, which was won by Tipton with 114 points. Highland was second with101 and host Sigourney had 100. North Mahaska finished with 80 beating BGM by 20 points at 60.

Shaw continued her strong season performance in the distances winning the 3,000 meters in 11 minutes 37.06 seconds and following up in the 1,500 in 5:30.04. Shaw also earned a third in the 800 meters in 2:42.74.
